Make The Call
Joe: Anyone wanting to let our representatives in Washington know our feelings on Syria, they are taking calls with a yes or no vote.

Ben Cardin (like John McCain) gets thousands and thousands of dollars in campaign donations from companies that make obscene profits from war related goods--he will vote for war everytime. These immoral politicians on BOTH sides of the aisle only care about making themselves rich while in office.
I just called and 1100 people have said no and only 20 approx. Have said yes. Mrs tom

Ben Cardin already voted YES! Now we need to vote him out. Mikulski is still undecided and Harris is leaning towards NO. Make the calls anyway, it won't cost you anything but a few minutes.
They will be a rally Sept 11th rain or shine event on the Rt 13/50 Overpass in Salisbury,Md. there might be nothing we can do right now but we can damn sure voice our opinions and let our congressman know how we feel
Called all 3. Harris's office was very polite and willing to provide answers to any questions asked. Mikulski's office was equally as polite. Cardin's office however, was not so polite bordering on rude. When asked if Cardin realized he is finished in the Senate the staffer became almost indignant. After all, he too will be out of a job. We must all work to remove Cardin from office next election, his time is up. His interest is not his constituents, it is his own self interest. Let us all work to replace him and let him know we are doing so.
We called Congressman Harris the other day and voice our opposition to military action in Syria and we too found staff receptive and informative. Called Cardin's office this morning. Didn't leave our names or anything just let them know we are opposed.
Politicians do not represent us the people. They will vote however they feel so no need to waste your breath
don't pay attention to the naysayers on this blog. your calls do make a difference. keep the heat on. don't give up. be firm and polite.
I called just after 5PM and only got an answer at the office of Andy Harris. Bab's and Ben only work 9 to 5 Monday-Friday, had to leave a message but I will be calling again Monday!
All Marylanders NEED to work at removing both Mikulski and Cardin as our Senators if we are to save our state and our country.
I will call and ask the important question. What exactly is it that the little people are not being told. How can you decided how you feel about this unless you have all the facts? Voicing your concerns with half the picture is stupid. I wil call but it will be to ask them to get all the facts before doing anything.
I asked the person at Mikulski's office how the calls were leaning. He said there is no leaning involved, that NO ONE has called in favor of going into Syria. Which makes me wonder;
