Jesse Jackson Jr. Possessions Auctioned To Pay Off Debt

CHICAGO (AP) - Mink capes, Bruce Lee autographs and Michael Jackson memorabilia that belonged to Jesse Jackson Jr. will be sold to the highest bidder to help ensure the former congressman pays his debt to society in full.

The U.S. Marshals Service starts selling 13 items Tuesday in an online auction. Proceeds go to help repay $750,000 in campaign funds that the Chicago Democrat illegally spent over several years.

Jackson was also sentenced to two-and-a-half years in prison at a hearing in Washington, D.C., last month.

Glad their holding him accountable and getting as much as they can, so often they don't seem to try hard enough, or all loopholes are covered.

He doesn't deserve a pension or the disability rate.
He illegally hoarded (stole) and spent 3/4 of what the average American makes in 15 years BEFORE taxes, or the LIFETIME earnings of someone making $25,000 a year, which speaks volumes to his constituents and the nation of his disdain for the "little
folks".
But, as usual, most of them just won't get it.

Think what this means in the big picture.

Disability payments can't be garnished. But retirement can.

Poor thing...how will he ever survive on that huge disability he gets? Was it $7500 or $8400 a MONTH?

What's his disability? Not able to follow society's rules, I'd imagine! We can now get PAID for that?????
