Breitbart News spoke exclusively to Brother James J. Muhammad, the National Director of Education for The Ordinary People Society New Black Panther Party. He said, "We were never contacted by the Justice Department. We were never contacted to calm down."

I'll clarify 7:51.
The threat to Zimmerman from the New Black Panther Party a national organization and was issued outside the state of FL where FL LE has no jurisdiction. When something like that occurs it's out of local LE's control and the feds take over. That is one of their functions-when the jurisdictional issues intertwine the feds get involved. Or at least that's what they are supposed to be doing.
