Accused: 1. Kalief Saheed Armstrong, 25, of Pennsylvania
BRIEF RESUME: A Trooper from the Salisbury Barrack of the Maryland State Police stopped a white 2005 Nissan passenger car for an equipment violation on Rt. 50 west bound at Woodyard Road in Willards, Wicomico County Maryland. The Trooper detected the odor of raw marihuana within the vehicle and a probable cause search of the vehicle revealed a small amount of marihuana on the driver, Mr. Armstrong. Troopers also located a loaded Ruger 9mm handgun under the drivers seat of the vehicle. A check of the handgun revealed that it was confirmed stolen from Ohio. Mr. Armstrong is currently being held at WCDC pending a hearing with a District Court Commissioner.
