DATE & TIME: May 31, 2013 @ 10:51 PM LOCATION: RT 50 at Cypress Street, Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland 
CASE NUMBER: 13-54-004193 
CHARGES: 1. Possession of Controlled Dangerous Substance - Marijuana

Suspect: Candice K. Blanchard W/F of Salisbury, Maryland

BRIEF RESUME: On the above date and time, a trooper stopped a 2002 Cadillac MD registration 13112HT on RT 50 at Cypress Street Salisbury, Wicomico County, Maryland for a traffic violation. Further investigation into the traffic stop led to the arrest of the above person, who was a passenger in the vehicle. The suspect was issued a Criminal Citation for possession of Marihuana and released from the Salisbury Barrack.

Suspect: Sean M. Hamilton W/m of Ocean City, Maryland

BRIEF RESUME: On the above date and time, the Salisbury Barrack received a 911 call reference to a Mercury MD registration 87588Z traveling E/B RT 50 approaching Pittsville driving erratically and swerving. Tpr. Smith, who was in the area was able to locate the Mercury and pulled behind the vehicle. The driver threw his hands out of the driver’s window and came to a abrupt stop in the emergency lane. The trooper activated his emergency lights and approached the driver’s window and immediately could smell the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the driver. The above driver failed field sobriety test, was placed under arrest and transported to the Berlin Barrack, where the driver submitted to an intoximeter test. The driver was issued the above citations and released to a friend.

It's that little dinky road that takes off of Middleton Road and goes south to the middle of Rt. 50. I think the whole road is maybe 85 feet ong.

I remember when this happened to a firefighter from Salisbury about 2 years ago. Interesting enough Mr. Hoppes just promoted him to Fire Captain. What short memories. If it happened to someone else they would have been fired.
