Rumor has it the Worcester County Board of Education will conduct a demonstration on Common Core State Standards during the upcoming meeting at 12:30pm on May 21, 2013 at the Board office in Newark. We need WCTP membership participation to show the BOE that there are members of the community that truly believe "Our CHILDREN Matter" and deserve a quality education that is not dictated by the Federal Government. Have you even looked at the curriculum? Or are you just that far caught up in the anti-gov. paranoia. How about this; don't like the curricula at the public school that is ran by public dollars, then send your kid to private or home school. If you have some substantive issues with the curriculum itself regarding its effectiveness, great! Share them. Otherwise cut the politics crap.

5:29, what do you find so good about this program being foisted to unsuspecting children, parents and Some educators? tell us why you find C.C. to be such a wonderful new program for our government schools (soon to be mandated for All schooling).

for those of you who are not aware of this trash; get educated for real and tell everyone you know. your children and grandchildren's future is at stake. ultimately our nation will certainly fall. look at what has happened thus far because of the government educated children. clueless socialists who believe in collectivism and the nanny state.
