Bad Guy Fires 37 Rounds
Shooting took place in March. Middlefield, OH
Female officer lost her left index finger (had a month on that Dept). Male officer had slight injuries, and is back on the job. Bad guy fired 37 rounds from AK-47 and died at the scene.
The bad guy was pulled over for running a stop sign. He had another 8 mags for the AK with 40 rounds each, books, DVD's on improvised explosives, etc.
He had no criminal record

I bet imclain must be furious. How dare they pull someone over for running a stop sign! Then to top it off they kill the guy. Damn cops, lol.
I guess when he opened fire they should have tried to negotiate with him. Maybe get him some ice cream or something.
Can anybody say "democrat anti-gun law bait"? Seems like democrats want these kinds of things to happen so they can justify new gun laws. That's why not all schools are getting armed security, they want to leave them open and reap the political benefits of tragedies. Tornadoes and hurricanes kill people too, ban mother nature?
These type weapons should not be sold to citizens! Why would anyone want one of these anyway?
I have a gun & will always have one for our protection---but these type weapons need to be taken off the mkt.!

11:45 and 11:47 what are you cops. No one has a problem with cops doing there job the way it should be done. It's when they think they are above the law that the problem starts.
That AK-47 didn't fire those rounds all by itself. It was the mentally deranged guy, and hr got what he deserved.
And who is to say all cops think they are above the law 12:26. As imclain states in many of his posts "walk a mile in their shoes". If you never have, I would suggest doing a ride along with a police officer. In fact, with two or three different agencies. Its unbelievable how things can go from zero to total chaos in no time flat. Many seasoned officers have walked that that walk and are now very cautious to the point they appear overzealous. It's almost like the difference between walking through your house at night after hearing a noise or walking through your house at night to get some milk and cookies.
Pulled over for running a STOP sign? The Government needs to ban STOP signs! See how dangerous they can be? This never would have happened if that dangerous STOP sign wasn't there.

You have no clue what type of weapons they are. What makes you think your gun is any different? By the way what kind of gun do you have and what gives you the authority to think those guns need to be taken off the market? You are obviously a Libtard!

Watch it again. It took 17 continuous rounds to put him down; after he'd been hit 2 or 3 times. And they want to limit us to 10? NFW.

11:45....I'm not furious. I'm upset that he didn't seem to know how to properly attack a position, especially with such overwhelming firepower. Someone who REALLY knew how to use that weapon wouldn't have taken ANY return fire. And 12:10....YOU don't know what the 2nd Amendment is really for, do you? It has NOTHING to do with hunting or stopping burglars. Its about --- and ONLY about - citizen's ability to stop tyrannical politicians and their armed enforcers from running roughshod over the people. Keep your gun. Good for you. But learn some history, too.
