It's spring concert season in Wicomico Schools! Be sure to come out and support the musical talents of students in band, orchestra, chorus concerts and art nights in the coming weeks. These events are happening this week:
Mardela Middle and High School Intermediate Band and State Solo & Ensemble qualifiers, 7 p.m. Monday, April 22, MMHS cafetorium. Admission free. 410-677-5142
The James M. Bennett High School Symphonic and Concert Bands, under the direction of Mr. Douglas L. Miles, will present the Annual Spring Band Concert on Thursday, April 25 at 7 p.m. in the James M. Bennett Auditorium. The concert will feature serious band literature by Larry Daehn and Brian Balmages, as well as lighter selections, including the Broadway and Silver Screen hit Les Miserables. East Salisbury Elementary will have its Talent Show starting at 6 p.m. Friday, April 26, at the school. Admission free. 410-677-5803
