Officers Accused Of Being Members Of Prison Gang

More than 100 federal agents and police officers rounded up dozens of corrections officers and gang members as part of a grand jury indictment involving the Black Guerrilla Family gang in Baltimore on Tuesday.

The U.S. Attorney's Office in Baltimore says those accused are alleged to have helped run the prison gang in the Baltimore City Detention Center and at the Baltimore Central Booking and Intake Center.

Fifteen women and ten men are alleged to be members of the BGF gang and are accused of smuggling drugs and cell phones into the facilities.

The math does not work out.Are prisons secretly being built to house everyone in the US who needs to be locked up? The answer is no.Therefore an alternative to incarceration will be the outcome.
