Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley (D) met Wednesday with top Israeli officials as part of an eight-day economic development trip to Israel and Jordan.
The governor’s itinerary included a meeting with Israeli President Shimon Peres in the morning and time later in the day with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Topics included economic ties between Israel and Maryland and the Middle East Peace process, according to O’Malley’s office.
In a statement, O’Malley, who is traveling with a delegation of Maryland business and education leaders, said he considered the meetings “a tremendous honor.”

Our next President of the United States.
Maybe he won't be able to get back due to Air Traffic Controller furloughs.....
Can't believe they would give this, small time, gun stealing, progressive, Constitution hating, lying Dem slug any time.
I pray they see him for what he really is. It's a shame we, the taxpayers are footing the bill for this idiot.
This trip makes sense on two levels:
First being a likely run at POTUS.
Second, there are a lot of Jews in this state with a lot of businesses and power. Fact.
If there were a lot of Hungarians he would be in Hungary. But there aren't so he isn't.
