The new menu choice will show up on menus on April 14, reports the Associated Press, and the company says it may eventually push the bone-in version off the board forever.
The move comes as Americans persist in our desire to snack conveniently and often on the go. KFC notes that almost four out of five servings of fried chicken in the country are boneless. Pretty sure there are plenty of grandmas out there sniffing indignantly right about now.

Those entitlement PEEPS dont want to waste chewing time.
Uh oh! I see another nanny state law coming. No eating chicken while driving.
KFC has forever, cut their chicken in such an odd way, that a small broken sharp bone can turn up in your mouth when you least expect it. I've had it happen more then once. I wouldn't let a child eat it, ever! I stopped buying KFC chicken many years ago for that specific reason. I think boneless, where KFC is concerned makes good business sense. The taste was ok, but choking to death on a chicken bone is not. My aunt choked to death on a chicken bone, so I know that it can happen. I like Popeyes chicken better anyway.
Fewer bones in the parking lots.
Opportunity for higher price, more profit.
Will still get the shi*s!
