There is no logic in this bill. The young lady just plain makes common sense. But, what do the politicians of Maryland know about common sense?
True story: When Anti-gun people discuss the AR-15 semi-automatic rifle, they call it an "Assault Rifle". When DHS purchases 7,000 FULLY AUTOMATIC rifles, they call them "Self Defense Rifles". They have no clue what they're doing, none at all.

I am a criminal. I have a gun. I will not register it nor will I get a background check. If confronted by police, I will have to shoot them to avoid going to jail. Is that what the lawmakers wanted?
well looks like we're going to have some further infringement of our rights by the fascist democratic regime of the welfare state of Communist MD... what I want to know is where do i sign the petition to get this on the ballot and take this to the supreme court and fight this Additional! voilation of our constitutional right!!!
Apparently this was an outstanding, yet futile effort. Too bad, too.
