When it comes to trading taxpayer dollars for hotel stays, Anne Arundel County Democrats in the General Assembly outspent Republicans 47-to-1 during the 2013 session.
Six of 10 county Democrats asked the state for lodging reimbursements totaling more than $47,000, with five claiming the maximum amount of $9,191, according to records obtained from the Department of Legislative Services through a Public Information Act request.
Meanwhile, three of 10 Anne Arundel Republicans asked for state reimbursements to cover a total of $1,000 in lodging expenses throughout the three-month session.

It's the democrat mentality-They think they are entitled to everything, are great at spending money that isn't theirs and take advantage of money just because it's available.
