WESTMINSTER, Md. (AP) - The former commander of the Criminal Investigations Division of the Carroll County Sheriff's Department has pleaded guilty to misdemeanor misconduct in office.
Nicholas Plazio entered the plea Tuesday in Carroll County Circuit Court. He was sentenced to three years supervised probation, a $5,000 fine and 500 hours of community service.
