BOYCOTT CHICAGO

CHICAGO (CBS) — Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel is putting more pressure on gun makers to get behind his push for an assault weapons ban and criminal background checks for gun purchasers.

This time, he wants to go after their bottom line.

Emanuel is pushing two major financial institutions to stop their financial backing of gun makers, unless those companies support “commonsense reforms, including requiring criminal background checks on all gun sales.”

The mayor is urging that banks to stop lines of credit, financing for acquisitions and expansions and financial advising.

It's not the gun makers. It's not all of the gun owners. It's society in general.

We never had the problems we have now until society changed. And continues to change.

An elected official trying to stop legal commerce. A Democrat.

So the banks lose money, the manufacturers lose money and skilled workers would lose their jobs. Yup, a Democrat.

Just putting more people on government assistance, thus hastening the decline of the middle class. An all too familiar move by the Democrats.

And yet they keep getting voted in...

Banks own government, and government owns the banks. Where do you sit in this game?

On the outside looking in. And pulling out your wallet.

Time for a change yet?

Bank of America, Geico, Dick's Sporting Goods and a host of others have already sided with the Government. They will not get one penny of my money for their stance and words. For every bank or retail institution that follows suit, there are 5 others who support this country's founding documents, and won't hesitate to provide their service.
