Student Hospitalized in Laurel After Alleged Threat to Shoot & Kill Classmates

A high school student has been hospitalized in Laurel after police say the student made a credible threat to shoot and kill other students.

Police say they received a call of the threats from school security at Laurel High School Monday afternoon.

According to police, classmates of the student reported behavior that made them uncomfortable to a teacher, and that teacher then reported it to security, which then relayed the information to local authorities.

Hope there have been no threats involving guns in Wicomico County schools.

Laurel High School has had a really bad & ongoing bully problem.I wonder if that might have fueled a retalliation.
