Resume:
Delmar, DE- The Delaware State Police Collision Reconstruction Unit has formally charged a Georgetown woman in the fatal crash that occurred on November 13th.

Troopers charged Danielle M. Bobak, 46 of Georgetown this afternoon with Vehicular Homicide 1st, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Child Restraint under 8 year old, and Driving a Vehicle at an Unreasonable Speed. She was arraigned at JP2 and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $20,502.00 secured bond.

The incident occurred Tuesday November 13, 2012 at approximately 2:40 p.m. as Danielle M. Bobak was operating a 2007 Subaru Legacy eastbound on Whitesville Road (SR30) just west of Whaley’s Road. As the Subaru entered into a moderate curve to the left, the passenger’s side wheels drifted off the south side of the roadway. In an attempt to bring the vehicle back on the roadway, Bobak over corrected causing the Subaru to spin in a counter-clockwise manner. The vehicle then exited the north side of the roadway where the front of the car struck a tree spinning the vehicle and rolling it onto the passenger’s side before coming to a stop.

Lleyton Slate, who was seated in the rear center position in a car seat, was partially ejected from the vehicle after it rolled onto its side due to the car seat not being properly secured in the vehicle. He was removed by EMS and initially transported to Peninsula Regional Medical Center (PRMC) before being flown to John Hopkins where he was pronounced dead.

There are a ton of drunks around here. In the past month its almost a daily occurrence with a DUI offender being arrested or in an accident. Imagine all the offenders that dont get caught. Drunks and sex offenders outnumber the normal people 2 to 1. It has a high quality of life though. Biggest bunch of lies Ive ever heard.

It's about time! The drunk drivers are never the ones hurt. It's always the innocent ones like this precious, sweet boy who relied on and trusted this sad excuse of a person to keep him safe. I am so sorry for the family of this child, especially at the holidays and also knowing that someone they are related to is at fault. I hope they do not feel guilty because SHE is the one who is responsible!!
