They most certainly will after Obama leads us into a full blown recession

Yes, I hope so. But, as we have just seen, they can screw it up as well.

Unless, the Tea Party goes away with their totally right wing attitude, it will never happen. It is going to take a conservative but not ultra conservative agenda to take it back.

Don't hold your breath on that one. Aren't you paying attention? Get your head out of the sand.

Only if we manage to show the dumbed-down masses what is actually at stake, and that the money they receive from the gummint doesn't fall from the sky.
If the US would begin to tax the benefits, maybe that will drive the point home.
Maybe the tax-and-spend crowd will help us make the point.

1105 losing 8 million jobs and seeing the stock market lose almost half it's value in 08' wasn't "full blown recession"?

The economy will continue it's historic ebb and flow cycle. Increases in growth and employment will keep the GOP from making many gains in 2014.

BTW, why are we even talking about this? Can we end the incessant 24 hour campaign and actually get the folks we elected to focus on doing their job??!

When the entitlement receivers realize that the money is giong to dry up on them and they get their heads out of the sand, it could happen.

Nope, in fact the GOP will likely give the Dems a Super Majority in the Senate.

Not by the hair of their chinny chin chin! The Republicans PROVED this trip they CAN'T muster a viable candidate NO MATTER what they do. Its SAD. Their ideas on allmost every topic are so archaic they can't get ANYONES attention and as the Republican electorate grows older, Their chances of wooing the current voter bloc in any categorie is about the same as finding Nancy Pelosi the centerfold of Playboy!
I'm really ashamed to own up to the fact I am Republican!

12:32-Nancy was asked to be the centerfold, but she turned it down.

Republicans need to find a way to reach younger voters, similar to the way the Dems did with MTV and Rock The Vote and Get out the Vote.

Republicans want to go back to a time that most young adults never experienced and have only seen on old TV shows and movies.

They need candidates that don't alienate half the population with their bizarre take on rape and abortion.

Scaring them with talk of SS being depleted doesn't faze them, most already believe it won't be there for them.

If the GOP can't figure out how to reach the young adults of this country on their level, not pander but really reach them, the GOP is going to die with their supporters.

The first moderate GOP candidate that stands up and publicly rebukes the Tea party wing and The ultra Evangelical wing will win an election.

Good God this would wake them up said...

Get rid of the House Speaker and let Sarah Palin be the House Speaker.

Judging by the results of this last election, I don't think so. Sad isn't it?

Sarah Palin does not need to be in the same sentence with the work speaker.......silly rabbit trix are for democrats.
