I know someone else said this but where the heck has boc and mdt been? In every obscure little town showing a flooded field and a dairy queen parking lot in lewes. All they had to do was drive around smallsbury. Its like this town doesnt qualify as news anymore because they are busy convering dover and rehobeth. thanks for all the news and pics today, we would never have known what was going on around us, had it not been for you.

Looks as though history is repeating itself. Remember George Cavalier's photos of Salisbury before the Humphrey's dam burst. All of this area was previously underwater.

Mother nature is reclaiming herself.
Maybe now - we now can restore Salisbury to her former glory - and rebuild this area with new ports of entry.

Maybe some of the grime will float away with the water.

Wow. That's the local insurance company! They didn't sand bad those buildings??? Stupid, stupid, stupid!!! What kind of idiot is in charge there? That building is only feet from the river!! I'm glad I don't have my insurance with them.

Really Anonymous 7:15?

Me thinks the insurance company doesn't know about mitigating their own potential losses.

9:57-Maybe someone will follow George's lead in a hundred years or so and write about the Frankenstorm of 2012.

$Billions and $Billions of dollars in damage accoss Delmarva. A lot of FEMA and insurance checks are going to be written over the next few months. Also, lot of temporary construction jobs are going to become available in the next few weeks.

looks like Peninsula Insurance will have to write themselves a check. buying a few sand bags would have been cheaper!

Because a few sand bags would have really helped with feet of water! Seriously people!!,
