Halloween Fun At The Westside Community Center


Salisbury, MD – Halloween is sure to be a blast this year for those young and old at the Westside Community Center in Bivalve, MD. The Westside Community Center will be hosting fun Halloween happenings including their Annual Youth Halloween Party on October 31st and the “Haunted Trail of Doom” on October 27th and 31st

The Annual Youth Halloween Party will take place from 5:00-8:00pm on Halloween and will offer a safe and fun Halloween night for the entire family. A $3 admission fee offers party goers plenty of games, candy, a bounce house, costume contest, hayrides, and more. All proceeds benefit the Westside Community Center. The Community Center is located at 21109 Bivalve Lodge Road, Bivalve, MD 21814.

The “Haunted Trail of Doom” will be open Saturday, October 27th and Wednesday, October 31st and will begin at 7:00pm each night. Those brave enough to wander through the trail will catch glimpses of scenes like The Electric Chair, Mine Shaft, Funeral Parlor Viewing, Jason’s Cage, The Guillotine, Alien Invasion, and more. Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for children under 12. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. The trail is located at 3938 Texas Road, Bivalve, MD 21814.

In addition to these two staples, a new Halloween event for adults is on tap this year.  The Adult Halloween Social and Zombie Run is slated for Saturday, October 27th at Cedar Hill Park and Marina from 6-9pm.  Registration for the Zombie Run is $25 and includes admission to the Halloween Social.  Salisbury University students can receive a $5 discount.  Those not ready ‘to run for their lives’ can come out and enjoy just the social for $10, which includes a hay ride and haunted trail, costume contest, live entertainment, bonfire and grown-up Halloween games.  Food and beverages will also be available for purchase.  To learn more visitwww.WicomicoRecandParks.org.
