BENEFIT

Dear Joe:

I've been following your blog for several years now &
have noticed sometimes you will announce an upcoming
benefit for local people. I was hoping you would
consider putting out the word for a Benefit for
Jeff Hatton of Hebron.

The  Benefit will be on Friday, October 26th at
the American Legion in Pocomoke.
No venues closer to home had dates available or was
able to help.
Jeff's dad, Norman Hatton has spearheaded this event.
Jeff has been sick for over a year and after many
medical appts was diagnosed with Renal Cancer.
On July 20th he underwent surgery at Univ of Md Hosp
to remove a large cancer mass and his right kidney.
He has been home healing and waiting to start chemo
very soon.

Needless to say, with only his wife's income, they
are very close to having their home go into foreclosure,
their car into repossession etc. The tickets have
just been printed and will be available at the Town
Office in Hebron or call 410-742-5266.

With less than 2 weeks till the benefit they would sure
appreciate a shout out!

All You Can Eat Crab Feast/Corn on the Cob & Hot Dogs
Plus a 50/50 Raffle.

Event starts at 5pm, with music & DJ.
Folks that would like to help but can't come to
Pocomoke can still contribute by buying a ticket.
We're praying for a great turn out!!

For those of us who cannot attend, but would like to help, could you post the name of the fund to make the check out to and where to mail it?

Thanks.

Joe, thank you for being there for people like this, us! So many of us are just one bad break away from financial ruin, just like these folks.
