On September 28, 2012, OCPD narcotics detectives concluded a six week undercover drug distribution investigation with the arrest of Jill Lauren Spinnenweber, 34, of Ocean View, Delaware.
During the investigation, undercover detectives were able to purchase a quantity of suspected marijuana from Spinnenweber outside the rear entrance of the Ocean City business, as well as a second occasion also in Ocean City at a different location.
Spinnenweber has been charged with two counts of distribution of marijuana and two counts of possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute marijuana. Spinnenweber was seen by an Ocean City District Court Commissioner and was released after posting a $25,000 bond.

Yep. Everyone in O.C. will now stop buying and selling pot because the stupidest cops in the state (and the shortest ones, too) spent God knows how much time (at least six weeks) to catch someone who sold them pot TWICE (oh no!! Two times!!). The real fun was playing the "cool dude", hanging out in clubs and being everyone's best friend. If they think THAT stopped ANYTHING, they have just lowered the "stupid" threshold so low they need a shovel to find it. They keep patting THEMSELVES on the back at their "heroic" work and giving EACH OTHER "awards", when all they are doing is putting a finger in a leaking dike and acting as if they are doing something productive. Which they are not. How about they investigate (and prosecute) the slumlords renting out run down four bedroom shacks and shanties to 12-15 foreign exchange workers at $800 a month --- per person. THAT would be some REAL crime fighting.
Six weeks...two officers... one small bag of weed after being coaxed to do it 8x s .... sound like a set up to me... we spent more on The cops drinking at the bar to get to know her. And they have video of the cops leaving after having multiple drinks... DWI is more of a crime than this. This is clearly a case of someone getting even.

Yes, she is very cute and a very great person as well!!! I know it is the off season, but come on OCPD find something better to do. I feel bad for her! She didn't harm or murder anyone and the cops who bought the pot very well could have and they should know that drinking and driving is illegal for ALL even if you wear a badge and carry a gun. This is just pathetic and sad.
