Despite a slightly smaller crowd in Ocean City for the Labor Day holiday weekend as compared to last year, many businesses still fared well.
“Labor Day Saturday was fabulous, with many of our members being sold out; however, there were plenty of openings on Sunday night,” said Susan Jones, executive director of the Ocean City Hotel-Motel Restaurant Association.
“Restaurant-wise, I’ve gotten pretty good reports from the weekend — steady business.”
