That's what gets me when the announce that a movie grossed however many dollars in a weekend. They don't consider the greatly increased ticket prices. They should be counting the number of tickets sold, not the dollar value.
None since Star Wars, the original Star Wars. In VA. beach they have a theater that has tables where you can order food and beverage and smoke while watching a movie. And even though I don't smoke, the ventilation system is designed so it bothers no one attending. Did I mention, they sell beer & wine, but only if you purchase food.

zero, they are too overpriced, then they stick it to you for popcorn and sodas. last time i went ot cost almost $40 for 2 people

Never. The last movie I saw was Reversal of Fortune (Von Bulow case)-and that had to be over 10 yrs ago. 99.9% of the movies made do not interest me.

Movies in theaters are too damn loud. Haven't been but once or twice since I came home from the service in 1975.
.12 times a month I believe that comes out to once every 18-24 months
