An unmanned experimental aircraft plunged into the Pacific Ocean yesterday after a control fin malfunctioned. The X-15-A Waverider is a hypersonic aircraft the Air Force wants to fly at Mach 6 or six times the speed of sound. But the aircraft lost control and broke apart off the California coast. Another Waverider suffered a similar fate in a test flight last year. Only one Waverider remains and the Air Force hasn't decided whether it will fly.

How many million did that cost? Maybe the designers should ride the first flights. Bet there would be less crashes.
Waste... more waste... To what purpose?
The Obama air-force.
Tax dollars up in smoke.
Yet another drone crashing in the ocean. Yea testing speeds blah blah. This country is more shady then Afghanistan and Iraq combined at least they openly disrespect their citizens.
At least Obama didn't fly it to Iran as a gift like last time.
I am really not in that much of a hurry to go to California! I mean, when I decide to go visit there, I may just take the auto train and make a week out of it! Besides, If O fly coach, I get there in what, 6 hours plus the rape time? Leaving California, well now, maybe that will be a different story, but there are states right next door!
Hey, guys, go ahead and send that third one up as is... that will end your program without further funding that I will now start saving that extra money up for my trip to California!
