American Legion Post 218 in Sharptown, in conjunction with the Sharptown Fire Department, invites you to a Cash Bash to benefit Heroes Haven. Every 15 minutes, there will be a $250 give away, with the final jackpot being determined by ticket sales. Enjoy the food, games and entertainment while waiting for your next chance to win some cash!
Similar to the Wounded Warrior Project, Heroes Haven brings wounded soldiers from the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Maryland to the Eastern Shore for hunting in the fall. The program covers their transportation, lodging, meals, hunting and entertainment expenses. A banquet is held at the end of the week to honor our wounded heroes.
