One time when my child was born. Went in late Wed night came home early Friday morning.
Been very blessed. Never
Just overnight for surgery a couple of times. Food sucked. Nurses and assistants overworked.
Does Mental stays count?
Twice for myself, both childbirth. Twice for my husband's pulmonary embolisms that he survived! I was with him his entire hospital stays which were about 10 days each. Anyone who is that ill needs someone to advocate for them in the hospital.
1. tonsils out as a child
2 & 3. two children born in the 1980's
4. surgery that went from day surgery to major surgery with a two & a half day stay. the hospital staff was great, very helpful, and the surgeon was great as well.
Soo, a total of four stays for me. I hope that will be all for me!!
Only when i was born, but I really don't remember it.
Only once, when I was born! They kept all babies and mamas a few days back then! :-)
I would have to say twice though I can say I don't remember the first as I was just born myself. The second time was giving birth to my beautiful daughter. Only stayed 2 days and don't have any complaints.

5 times that I can remember because most were many years ago. However, if you were to add up the times waiting in the ER waiting room to be seen at our wonderful hospital here in Salisbury, yeah, I wrote that with a huge frown, I imagine that I have racked up over 3 months worth of time spent there for only 3 visits waiting to hear the results of famliy members. Good friend went there and was afraid she was having a miscarriage and she waited over 7 hours to be seen. Then she waitied another hour in the next room. They finally examined her and said to go home and rest in bed. She lost the baby the next day. PGH or whatever they call themselves now has NO baby Doctors on staff. TLC is the ONLY place who has certified Doctors for pregnant women.
You better hope its not on a unit in the great prmc kingdom where your nurse is sleeping on duty instead of,making their hourly checks on you as a patient. SCARY WITH A CAPITAL S!!!!
Over the past decade, I've spent atleast couple of months sitting bedside. Outside of getting my tonsils yanked as a kid I've never been admitted. But my family has seen it all. Triple A's, heart attacks, strokes, comas, Medijets, cross country caretaking, and that's just for one man. Visiting hours do not apply, just show me where they keep the cots and we'll be there.
Twice.Once in 1964 when a car running 80 MPH hit my bicycle and I sustained a broken leg(I realize how unbelievable that sounds but it's true)and in 1981 when I had a kidney stone.That actually hurt more than the broken leg.
