Willards Elementary first-grade students will present “America’s Cities and Countryside” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 19 in the Willards Elementary auditorium. As a part of our Arts Integration, all of the students at Willards Elementary have been studying the United States through the various art forms. The 1st grade has focused on the Mid-West and New-England regions of the United States with particular interest in the cities and countryside found in that region. Their Spring Program is based on “The Town Mouse and the Country Mouse” and will include city and country soundscapes, dances, songs, drama, and scenery production. Admission is free. 410-677-5819

The Mardela Middle & High School Spring Concert, featuring 6th Grade Intermediate Band, State Solo & Ensemble Performers, and West Salisbury Orchestra will take place at 7 p.m. Monday, April 23, in the Mardela Middle and High School cafetorium. Admission is free. 410-677-5142
Thursday, April 26
The James M. Bennett High School Symphonic and Intermediate Bands will present the Spring Band Concert on Thursday, April 26 at 7 p.m. in the James M. Bennett Auditorium. The concert will feature serious band literature by Richard Saucedo and Brian Balmages, as well as lighter selections from the artists Hoagie Carmichael and Frank Sinatra. Monday, April 30
East Salisbury Elementary School’s 4th-grade music classes, 4th and 5th grade string students, and 5th grade band students will perform a Spring Concert at 7 p.m. Monday, April 30, in the school gym. Admission is free. 410-677-5803
