Death Classified As Homicide

• Delaware Truck Plaza, 194 South DuPont Highway, New Castle, DE

 

Date of Occurrence:

• Sunday, April 22, 2012 at 9:00 a.m.

 

Victim:

• Ronald A. Hardy-56 of New Castle, DE

 

Victim’s Missing Vehicle:

• 1992 Ford Ranger, tan in color, Delaware Registration # CL71413. Vehicle has distinctive black steel wheels with small silver center caps.
• Surveillance photo of the vehicle leaving the Delaware Truck Plaza attached.

 

Resume:

New Castle-The death of Ronald A. Hardy-56 of New Castle, DE has been classified as a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner. Details as to the cause and manner of death are not being released at this time due to the ongoing investigation.

 

Delaware State Police Homicide Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident and have released a surveillance photo of the victim’s missing vehicle exiting the Delaware Truck Plaza on Saturday night, April 21, 2012 at approximately 10:00 p.m.

 

If anyone has information as to the whereabouts of the victim’s vehicle, or has observed or located the vehicle are asked to call 911 immediately.
