The very last out was after a batter had check swinged and the ump called it a strike.Amazing.At one time during baseball history 34 years passed between perfect games, but until 1960 there were only 16 teams in pro ball. When the field was broadened to 30+ teams the odds of a perfect game doubled. In the past 3 or 4 years several perfect games have been pitched, but absolutely no one thought that Humber would ever do it.A truly amazing feat.
