BALTIMORE -- Those in the news business have some new competition in Baltimore.
City police officials said they believe the Baltimore Police Department is the first in the nation to launch a daily newscast.
"BPD-TV" will stream live from Baltimore City police headquarters weekdays at 12:30 p.m., and each episode will be archived on the Baltimore Police Department's website.
The Police Department set up a TV studio replete with cameras, lights, scripts -- the works. The police-officer-turned-news-anchor also has the ability to play video during the broadcast.

A premiere propaganda outlet and huge waste of taxpayers resources.
