Incident: Burglary Investigation
Date of Incident: 6 January 2012
Location: 8000 block of Mar-lynn Drive, Delmar, MD
Suspect: Pending

Narrative: On 6 January 2012
at 6:18 PM, a deputy from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office responded to investigate a reported residential burglary in the 8000 block of Mar-lynn Drive in Delmar. Investigation revealed that an unknown perpetrator forced entry into the residence through a window. During the burglary, U.S. Currency and an electronic gaming system were taken.

Incident: Fugitive Extradition
Date of Incident: 5 January 2012
Location: Accomack County, VA
Suspect: Rashem H. Amunre, 33, Onancock, VA

Narrative: On 5 January 2012
deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office travelled to Accomack County, Virginia for the purpose of extraditing Rashem Amunre back to Wicomico County. Amunre was wanted on a Failure to Appear Bench Warrant in a Circuit Court Case for CDS Distribution stemming from 2010. Amunre was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and held without bond pending an appearance in front of a Circuit Court Judge.

Incident: Fugitive Extradition
Date of Incident: 5 January 2012
Location: Virginia Beach, VA
Suspect: Charles Kates, 63, Machipongo, VA

Narrative: On 5 January 2012
deputies from the Wicomico County Sheriff’s Office travelled to Virginia Beach, VA for the purpose of extraditing Charles Kates back to Wicomico County. Kates was wanted on a Circuit Court Indictment that was issued back in December 2009 in an Assault First Degree case.

Kates was transported to the Central Booking Unit where he was processed and held on $150,000.00 bond pending an appearance in front of a Circuit Court Judge.
Charges: Assault First Degree
