TAKOMA PARK (WUSA) -- Betty Thompson's Hyuandai Sonata gets about 25 miles to the gallon. Assuming, of course, that somebody hasn't drilled a hole in the gas tank and stolen all the gas.
That's exactly what happened a few weeks ago, after Betty's grandson borrowed her car and parked it near a friend's house in Greenbelt.
