Public Would Know Family Ties Under New Bill

A House Bill to promote open government was among a handful of bills pre-filed Jan. 5, five days before the 146th General Assembly was scheduled to return to session.
House Bill 232 would require public officers to disclose family members who work for any entity that receives state funding. This includes state agencies, school districts, colleges and any nonprofit group that receives or applies for grant-in-aid funding from the state.

Oh oh!!! Look out Somerset County. The County may have to shutdown since the County administration is basically related to each other or to a certain Somerset County Circuit Court Judge(s). The Good Ole Boys better learn the definition of professional ethics and nepotism. If folks only knew the breakdown of family in this administration there would be a lot of questions needed to be answered. Y'all come back now, hear!
