Dover -- The Department of Transportation (DelDOT) will be holding a public workshop to receive public input on and to share plans for the Park Improvements at the Delaware Seashore State Park near the new Indian River Inlet Bridge. The meeting will be on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 at the DelDOT Field Office, 39368 Inlet Road, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971. The public is invited to attend any time between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m.
The goal of this workshop is to present conceptual drawings for the new layout of the park area near the bridge. Specifically, park improvements will include a new campground area, new bathhouses and other improvements.
Attendees will have an opportunity to review display materials and provide comments to DelDOT representatives. Interested persons are invited to express their views in writing, giving reasons for support of or in opposition to, the proposed project. Comments will be received during the workshop or can be mailed to DelDOT Public Relations, P.O. Box 778, Dover, DE 19903.
