Newark Woman Pleads Guilty To Software Piracy

A Newark woman is facing five years in prison and a $2 million fine after pleading guilty to operating software piracy websites.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says 34-year-old Jamie Lynn Snyder pleaded guilty to one count of criminal copyright infringement for her role in operating a group of websites that were unlawfully selling hundreds of popular computer software products at a fraction of their value.
