Come on people, get in the spirit. The festivities will be going on for several hours. Pack up the kids and come down to meet Santa.

Good, stay home. You people missed a great event and since you weren't there we didn't have to contend with any ignorant jackasses while we were out having a wonderful family experience.

Congratulations to the JMB band, the St. Francis choir and all the other groups who made this such a wonderful event.

It was a very nice event. By my count there were over 200 people there. The pictures here don't do it justice.

anonymous 10:51, in all fairness, you are correct.

I have to say though, I was truly disappointed in the turn out. It's a wonderful event but since Jim Ireton took Office it continues to drop in numbers.

I can recall this event when Barrie Tilghman was in office and the crowd was at least 4, maybe even 6 times the size we had last night. Each year it gets smaller and smaller and that's unfrtunate.

Third Friday was extremely well attended. There were so many activities going on away from the GOB that I'm sure that had a lot to do with the smaller numbers. Maybe the Mayor can learn from that and not combine it with 3rd Friday.

We enjoyed a very large crowd last night at 300 W. Main Street.

Maybe everyone would like to see a little CHRIST in the upcoming holidays.

It's NOT VERY WELL publicized. If it were, more would turn out. Like everything else around here.

Bet you'd have better turnout after Thanksgiving...like we used to.
