THE POWER OF YOU 10-16-11

Welcome All! Love this weather! Hi, to our new friends who read our article and decided to join us, and as always to our regulars!

Football season: Well our Ravens are doing well so far, thank the good Lord for our defense last week. We along with the Skins were off last week, so hopefully all my great Pittsburg fans are happy with their outcome. See what happens when your boy gets married? JUST KIDDING! Ha!

Steve Jobs 1955-2011 To say farewell to a brilliant man is certainly an under statement! To quote a much quoted quote about him: This one from Time, He became the most celebrated, successful business executive of his generation--in 2011, Apple’s market capitalization passed that of Exxon Mobil, making it the planet’s most valuable company--and he did it all the wrong way. He didn’t listen to his customers. Jobs liked to quote Wayne Gretzky; “ You don’t skate to where the puck is, you skate to where it’s going to be !”

Now just imagine for a moment if America would get back to…well, being America. If people hand the attitude that I have a great idea and it can help America stay great? Not these people who just sit around and wait for the next government check! I like the recent attitude of Mitt, don’t vote for me if you don’t want the greatness of America to prevail over any other country in the world! If you like the continuing decline, then keep doing what you are doing, and keep the leadership you have! Let us give to our kids and grand kids the America where and what we want it to be!

The only part of the Jobs article I did not agree with is the part where they say he is not one of us. Maybe in many areas no, but there had to be times throughout his life, just like us, where he has to think about the end on this earth. I do not know the man or his thoughts of eternity. However I do know this, our God sends no one to Hell. He gives us the authority everyday on this earth to decide where we want to spend eternity and a plan of action to get there. Steve Jobs with all his billions and all the good things he did with his billions is still not in heaven, if he hasn’t faced the question, is Jesus Christ our Savior and do I accept it? He has the exact same opportunity to accept as you and I do. So yes you and Jobs are exactly alike when it comes to the most important question of the universe, where will I choose to go when I leave this earth. Just saying, the choice for you to ponder this question here and now, as always, is given to the power of you.

So from high school kids, to college graduates, adults on unemployment and others remember, don’t necessarily look for work where work is but perhaps where it will be? If you need help with that give me a call.

Dr. Triglia,

In pondering your question about accepting Jesus Christ as our savior I have just one question for you. What about the Jewish faith? They do not accept Jesus yet are still faithful to God.
