Bad Job because he doesn't know how to handle the way he talks to others and quite frankly I don't even think he is qualified....
I see hims sorry excuse for a person walking up and down the plaza looking and point at things HE WON'T FIX... And When walking behind him, you can he his remarks and I can say for sure he is pompous (pomp-ass)...
Don't expect the plaza to be revitalized anytime soon...
You have a weird, destructive Mayor tilting at the windmills on one hand, versus a do nothing, negative, useless council on the other. How does one measure what is a good job.
Salisbury has been disintegrating for over 15 years; these clowns are overseeing its increasingly rapid demise.
I don't wanna step on any body's toes but I think you can forget about the plaza.
I just don't see any way they can fix it and make it profitable. And that's the key motivation to anything in this country isn't it?
Ah, the demise of a once wonderful little town. 11:29 says it has been happening for the past 15 years. Could the fact that I left about that time be a factor lol.
Salisbury has not had a good Mayor and Council since Paul Martin was Mayor
Whenever there is a neighborhood problem not being taken care of through the proper channels that are to address the problems but don't, I will say I have contacted him and have gotten answers on whom is to take care of the matter, or he gets the results and quick. I have attended the meetings when I am able, and I watch Pac 14 and what does occur in both the county and city meetings so I know what action and what support we need to due as citizens and voters.
bad job. he is not qualified for this position and i think the "results" of his time in office prove that. he is much too imature for any leadership position.
sad really; that we can't find someone who understands business, leadership and has people skills.
we need to keep looking for quality leadership.
I think that Mayor Ireton is doing a satisfactory job, given the Council he has to work with.
He has done a bad job , he cannot make a decision on his own. Should have stayed with the teaching. The position he holds needs some experience in government , he has none! he's a little whimpish

the mayor has no sstaff to work with him. They stand back and laugh at him. He does not have the back bone to fire anyone. The city attorney is crooked as a snake. Oldham streight out lied about those two open spaces properties being put up for bid and it was proven they were NOT. lord only knows what other lies she has told. He needs to clean house. Jim has good intentions but the road to hell is paved with good intentions. He could do better. He needs to act like a businessman not a second grader.
Didn't realize he was actually working on anything beyond his image.
