A day after a 3.5% selloff on the Dow Jones Industrial Average, stocks opened Friday’s session with modest losses. The major-stock market indices are looking to stabilize after one of their worst two-day selloffs in years, while yields on Treasury products continue to fall. Heading into Friday’s session, the Dow was off 16% from its April high, not far from the 20% that would define a bear market. The blue-chip barometer is currently down 40 points at 10693.
