Spectrawatt - Yet Another Solar Company Files For Bankruptcy Protection Just A Few Days Ago

No sooner than SBYnews publishes one list of Shuttered-Up solar businesses - yet another one files for Bankruptcy Protection.
 
This one is an Intel spinoff industry - SpectraWatt - and is located in upstate New York State.  They have furloughed 110 employees and shuttered their doors to.

Sorry their folding. solar stuff is a good idea, but to expensive.

Solar is not viable. It doesn't work. It didn't work 30 years ago and it won't work in the future.
There is only so much energy in a square meter of sunlight (About 1000 watts at peak time on a cloudless day).
Solar is like the seach for the fountain of youth. Nice thought but it doesn't work!

Everytime I turn around there is another report of a solar industry failing.

If this is the suppose to be the wave of the future, then I guess there are going to be a lot of bankruptcy filings in short order.
