Really, I'm going to waste 90 minutes to drive from Delmar to Lewes to pick it up to save $72??
70miles so like $8 in just gas.
Some people have too much time on their hands.
A delivery service you say? You'd have to bill about $150 to deliver a fridge to think about being "profitable", then factor in truck maintenance, insurance, etc, you'd be losing money with every delivery.
Keep in mind that'd only save money if Delaware resident, if you live in Maryland and purchase that in Delaware, you're still required to mail the state 6% use tax at the end of quarter (with your tax return) form ST-118A

Don't forget that you can save another $71.88 in sales tax by purchasing and picking it up in Lewes, DE!
I wonder why someone hasn't started a delivery business built around the sales tax disparity between the 2 states for large items such as this.

Yea, good luck with that, I think they collected about $5,000 that way last year.

It takes you 90 minutes to go 37 miles? And you're worried about 8 bucks in gas? You would still be over 60 bucks in savings.
60 minutes to lewes equals one dollar a mile. Round trip comes to 50 cents a mile. That's good money to most people.
