Today's Survey Question

Should the U.S. pull out of Afghanistan now that Osama bin Laden is dead?

NO!

Pulling out now only means the next UBL will set up shop tomorrow in Afghan.

The big mistake was trying to turn Afghan into an American style democracy. We should have simply expelled al queda and let the chieftains who denounced terror work things out among themselves.

Altogether, NO. Drawdown, Yes. A presence there will help to respond should there be a major deployment of Taliban and/or alQueda insurgents. That will also allow a basecamp for Spec OPS to perform counter-intel anti-terrorist activities. Same for Iraq for similar issues.

Yes, they should have pulled out even if they didn't kill him.

Let me answer your question with a question.
Wasn't the reason for going into Afghanistan to get Osama Bin Laden?
If the answer is yes (which I belive it is) then YES, we should pull out of there.
Us being there is only creating more hatred in the Middle East.
Of course, the REAL reason we're there may not be to find Osama Bin Laden and now those lies may be uncovered as well.

No, because before long the USA will be just like Afghanistan, then we will be able to live at either location.
