Terry Jones, the man who sparked an international furor in Afghanistan by burning a Muslim holy book and showing it on the Internet, was back in the pulpit Sunday.
On a day when three more people died in violent demonstrations, Jones approached the front of the Dove World Outreach Center, laid down his handgun and his Bible on a music stand, and said he did not feel responsible for the violence in the Muslim world triggered by the book burning.

Jones should not have burned the muslims bible, but the reaction shows just how crazy Muslims are.
People just have to realize Islam is a religion of hate and intolerance.. People will say that it is just a small minority of Muslims that do this. To me that argument just does not work. Because if it were just a few, the vast majority of "good Muslims" would rise up and put down the crazies.
Jones is an idiot but the people killing innocent people are the true villains.
Why is he an Idiot? The idiots are the media who gave him a platform and are the ones who are responsible for whipping the Muslim fanatics into an uproar causing the deaths of dozens.
3:58 - I have thought your comment several times in the past few days. I am the family member of a service member currently deployed and serving in Afghanistan. Since the tremendous attention this man has received, the base where our loved one is stationed (as well as all US military bases there) has been attacked repeatedly. We teach our children tollerance and love while they bomb our family members because the news broadcasts crazy people.

Seems to me that the crazy people are the ones attacking the base. This is just another excuse. If it wasn't for this nut job they would find another reason to do it. Like they really even need a reason. There is no peace in Islam.
This person put it very well:

In Nigeria, Muslim attackers have stormed 3 Christian villages, killing at least 2 and burning houses, because a local teenage boy allegedly desecrated a Quran. We should be fighting the worldview that violence is Muslims' natural and understandable response to offense. We should not be pandering to it.
Full responsibility for the violence in Afghanistan should be placed on the Muslims who are committing the violence, not on the pastor who burned a Quran.
If you say that Muslim violence is the fault of a person who offends them, then you may as well be the ones burning down houses in Nigeria. There will never be a day when Muslims are not offended. Start holding them accountable for their violence.
