Lost Dog: UPDATE

Hi Joe.
Since your site was so helpful finding homes for some pups I had a year or so ago, I was hoping I could enlist your aid in finding a lost dog. He's a yellow lab mix with short ears about a year or so old. He ran off on Saturday when I was out of town and he hasn't been seen since.
He has not been neutered yet so I guess he caught a scent and ran. I live in the Civic avenue area near the Salisbury nursing home. If anyone has any information about him please call me, Roger Walker, at 410-726-3306.
Thanks

A responsible pet owner will have their dog or cat neutered at 6 months of age. Neutering not only benefits the health of the animal but also helps dogs not to wander and if they do wander they cannot add to the very sad overpopulation of unwanted dogs and cats. Please spay and neuter your pets!

Really 10:58? The mans dog wandered off, it happens from time to time whether or not the animal was spayed or neutered! Not to mention this particular dog "took off" while the owner was out of town so maybe the dog was lonely? Mr. Walker doesn't need to hear a Bob Barker wanna be, he needs to hear from someone that can actually offer some assistance in locating his pet!

Oh yes I will add I have a 4 year old male that hasn't been neutered and he has never left our property, yet my 6 year old that is neutered did run off in his "younger" day.

SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR PETS PEOPLE.

10:58, you are exactly right!!!

2:44, it is FACT that males not neutered will run off to chase after the scent of a female...not theory.

That being said...Roger I do sincerely hope that you find your dog!!

I had a lab that was neutered young and darted off every chance he got.

No, that would make too much sense, no one could get their little digs in and they wouldn't be able to try and convince someone other than themselves that they might know something.

State Farm is a good neighbor, not these yokels.

9:06...He didn't say that dogs who ARE fixed WON'T run off...he simply said that if they AREN'T fixed, they probably WILL.
Not the same thing.
