For A Taste At What Ocean Downs Casino Is Like

At Maryland's newest casino on the Shore, there are no coins flying around like you may be used to seeing at Las Vegas, Delaware, or even Atlantic City.

There are lots of video terminals though. For a lot less money ($20), you can install a casino on your computer. This video is about as realistic as you would see on a visit to Ocean Downs Casino and it includes more than just video Blackjack and Slots. If you win at the casino, you get an animated video display of coins flying around and an ATM looking receipt with a bar code on it that you can take to the cashier. Some people get excited when they get a coupon at the grocery store though. As for food, the casino venue comes closest to what I'd describe as cafeteria style airport food. There are servers who will take drink orders on the floor and deliver to your chair a small plastic cup containing the beverage of your choice.

In the end, you may decide that a trip to the Ocean City American Legion with your laptop in tow is just as entertaining and less costly.
