The price of the fireboat was "free". The cost of owning the fireboats will be $$$. We do run a risk that space trash could fall on our homes. Is it worth the cost of doing so to build shields over the city? I'm sure Captain Kirk stands ready to help

So she is a sub contractor for companies that are mostly taxpayer funded.
Dixon is Gordys little boy lets get that straight from the beginning. Dixon is no different than his grandfather Rev. Harvey Dixon both are liars. Dixon must be rather naïve jumping on the Gordy boat like that considering that history here.
Voters of Salisbury here are a few things you should know about Joel Dixon before casting your ballot in the primary. Dixon works for paid fire department on the Western shore of Maryland that forces him to be gone days at a time with his job. Time being of the essence how can Dixon possibly be a volunteer firefighter for Salisbury work out of town and have time for council business I ask. I personally don’t see how one person can humanly accomplish such a task. Then one must look at the connection of the Gordy family both father and son to Dixon. Now for the really important stuff just what does Salisbury Fire Department think of Dixon? The short and the sweat he’s not liked at all neither by career or volunteer. Would SFD back Dixon for council? Not hardly!
Gary Comegys is a volunteer firemen voting on fire department issues right or wrong?

Wasn't Gordy treasure for the Comegys campaign? Who is treasure for Dixon?
And Laura knows best how to spend tax money on those who do not contribute to the tax base. All she has to learn now is how to tax more to fund her favorite funds!
There is no program she licenses that brings in monies!

Just heard Orville Dryden's interview on WICO this morning. That is one lame and clueless interview. He states he has only been to one meeting and refused to answer good questions. He isn't getting my vote.

Given back to the community where? Not in Salisbury! As a matter of fact he has stolen from the citizens of Salisbury! He doesn't love Salisbury he is milking it for everything he can get to stroke his ego!

I would like to know who this clown is!
Every person that has been a city council candidate introduced on this blog has been accused of being a plant or some relation to SAPOA. They've been accused of being friends of Gordy, Ireton, or tied with some other group. Salisbury is a small area and everybody knows everybody and is associated with each other in one way or another whether you like it or not. The fire boat, linens of the week, the bricks, all of those issues are already done and cannot be changed now. Salisbury needs to focus on moving forward and not so much on the past. The questions the candidates should be asked are what are their plans for gangs, crime, businesses, jobs, budgeting, etc. I don't understand the point in focusing so heavily on the past and condemning the candidates for actions of the past council. I feel that it is too easy for the candidates to simply say no, I wouldn't have been in favor of that because they know that people on this blog will lash out. Let's focus on the future of Salisbury rather than dwell on the past failures.
If the local 4246 supports any of them they will be bad for the city. Look at the track record. 4246 supported ireton and smith, both worthless.
Local 4246 got duped like the rest of us.
They also supported Cohen and Spies.
Cohen has proven herself to be the real deal. I hope she stays in and Spies gets in too. He is honest and has a brain.
