Calling Out To Our Friends In Pocomoke

The charts you see above are the most recent charts for WalMart in Pocomoke. While every community is coming together to help those in need, Pocomoke seems to have a slow start and we need your help.

Volunteering to ring the bell for the Salvation Army is one of the most rewarding experiences you can receive in your lifetime. Knowing you're doing your part to give back to your community by simply offering your time is rewarding enough. However, greeting the hundreds, (if not thousands) of people each day willing to reach into their pockets to help their fellow man, well, there's just nothing better.

Please consider finding some spare time to participate and call 410-430-7464. Merry Christmas!

I have to wonder why Mike McDermott isn't out ringing the bell, Rick Pollitt rings the bell as does many of our council members. All the other communities have their police and fire departments ringing. What's going on in Pocomoke?

What about Sysco, Midway Chevy, the schools. This is so sad for Pocomoke....what is wrong with Worcester County anyway???

Really? Rick Pollitt? Where have you seen him ringing a bell. I've not seen ANY county officials (except newly elected Bob Caldwell) out doing their part..and I've been in and out of a lot of places.

All these "elected" officials should be stepping up and helping these folks. Their quick to spend our money and cut, cut, cut programs and services. How about helping other organizations trying to do good for the community!

Until this post, we didn't have a SBYNEWS to help us realize there wasn't enough help. Every time I go to WalMart there's always someone there.

I live in Pocomoke and personally ringing the bell for the Salvation Army for one or two hours out of the Mayor, Town Manager or CouncilMan or Woman's day would be the least those THIEF'S could do!!! Come on Russ, get up out of your chair and get to Wal-Mart to ring the bell do something you can be proud for once in the last 35 years you've been there and as far as our council goes...that's pitful they won't go...I did stand out there at Wal-Mart for 2 hours freezing my tail off the other night, which is why I"m begging the Mayor and Council to do so!!! Get out there Pocomoke Mayor n Council don't make us look any more stupid than you are already are.....I'M ASHAMED OF YOU...
