Bride Sues Runaway Groom For $100,000 Wedding

A jilted bride is suing her ex-beau who dumped her days before the wedding, leaving her standing at the altar holding a bill for nearly $100,000 in wedding expenses.

Brides and grooms should be splitting wedding costs, no family involved.
You want to get married, get what you can afford, if not it is more about the show than the actual coming together of two people.
Got to wonder where peoples priorities are when they make their kids borrow for college but are willing to cough up big bucks for a party.

Weddings, birthday parties and the like are out of control. When my son got married four years ago, both families pitched in and we even catered it ourselves. It was the best wedding I've attended in a long time. Bigger is not better. Stop the madness!!!!

I agree 9:24. My husband and I payed for our own wedding and saved up for over a year. It was modest but elegant and everyone had a good time. We ended up planning and choosing everything ourselves, which inevitably brought us even closer together.
