I wanted to remind you that a third opportunity to comment on the Safe Streets draft legislative package (http://www.ci.salisbury.md.us/Default.aspx?tabid=643) is this Tuesday in the Council Chambers with doors opening at 6:00.

Are we going to have to listen to landlords drone on about how important they are and how this legislation is unfair to slumlords?
11:30, according to a press release I received by email, no. Sounds like the residents will get to speak this time. I saw the other meetings on PAC14 and felt bad for the people who live in the city. The landlords took all the seats, even away from the old people!
It's easy to complain if you don't know what your talking about. Terry Cohen's own survey of attendees at the last meeting showed more property owners and tenants then landlords. These folks spoke loud and clear that this legislation had nothing to do with crime, but had all to do with destroying the rental business in Salisbury, with no solutions as to the impact on the tenants. 2 meetings, majority of attendees against the legislation, yet Campball, cohen and Ireton have not listened. These 3 continue to waste taxpayer dollors by having all the administration attend, compensated by time off or over time pay, aand have not listened. Yes we need change, throw them all out, and get some leval headed business people in that will do whats right for Salisbury. Peomote jobs and business, thus reduce crime. If you work, there will be less crime. Now thats a solution where we all win.
